IT Business Manager

We are looking for an effective manager to oversee all functions from the hiring of employees to managing customer relations to implementing business strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with the existing customers as well as building and leading an IT team.

Grape Up helps some of the biggest brands in the world change the way they deliver software and build cloud-native applications. We navigate their journey to the cloud, show them how to work agile and leverage cloud-native technologies so they can deliver their software faster, better and safer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with existing customers
  • Motivate and drive the team of software engineers to achieve the customer’s business goals
  • Monitor and improve quality of performance by collecting and providing feedback
  • Attract, recruit and retain employees through effective leadership and visibility in the marketplace
  • Oversee onboarding of new employees
  • Actively monitor project execution to ensure all obligations are met
  • Maintain communication within the team and with the Polish branch
  • Establish and promote a work environment that inspires people to align with Grape Up’s values
  • Ensure that processes and procedures are tailored to the needs of the branch
  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, identifying solutions to potential issues
  • Prospect for potential new clients and generate new business with support from the sales team

Requirements

  • 2+ years of managerial experience in an international environment
  • 5+ years of experience in sales/software development/project management
  • Technical background that allows working in a high-tech environment
  • Proven ability to sell the business value
  • Master's degree – preferably in business or IT
  • Willingness to frequent travels abroad
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, goal-orientation, can-do attitude
  • Fluency in English
  • Understanding of Polish work culture
