At Grape Up we work on mission-critical projects for the world’s biggest OEMs, Tier1s, and Mobility providers, as strategic software development partners. Our customers include top-world Automotive brands. 

To support strong business growth within the Automotive industry, we are looking for an ambitious and successful leader who will strengthen the Grape Up’s presence in Germany and reach the expansion objectives. The Country Manager will act as the Geschäftsführer of Grape Up GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all functions of our new Germany branch from implementing business strategies to growing relationships with new customers to building a local team.

Responsibilities


  • Build and execute a strategic plan with an ambitious business growth objective
  • Drive sales in Germany
  • Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with new customers
  • Own the budget and P&L to ensure efficiency, profitability, and scalability
  • Attract, recruit, onboard, motivate and drive a team needed to succeed (delivery managers at first)
  • Cooperate with stakeholders within the Grape Up Group
  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, identifying solutions to potential issues
  • Develop processes and procedures with the support from the Grape Up Group and ensure that they are tailored to the needs of the branch
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations in cooperation with legal & tax advisors
  • Adapt and develop the communication strategy for Germany
  • Establish and promote a work environment that inspires your team to align with Grape Up’s values
  • You will report to the CEO of Grape Up Group

Requirements


  • Solid track record in selling software services or technology consulting – preferably within the Automotive industry  
  • Experience in executing strategies into clear action plans 
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Master's degree – preferably in business or IT
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills
  • Goal-orientation, perseverance, and hands-on approach

  • Native German speaker and fluent in English
  • Based in Germany – in one of the cities in Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg
